Digital smart frame for structural mechanics experiments with wireless data acquisition
A stainless-steel mounting frame that hosts a family of smart, communication-enabled experiment modules — bars, supports, load units, distance gauges — clipped in without tools or cabling. A single power-bus line feeds every module, and a master unit streams all readings to a PC over USB, where force, deflection and position are displayed both numerically and graphically. The frame turns the classical force-and-deformation bench into an instrumented, reconfigurable teaching platform.
A comprehensive series of experimental setups for advanced structural mechanics topics — including truss analysis, beam deflection, frame deformation, column buckling, and material testing.
