Curated Package
The Fundamentals of Heat Transfer package covers the three modes of heat transfer as they appear in a standard undergraduate thermodynamics course. Thermal conduction in metals (TH311) demonstrates Fourier's law with a set of interchangeable specimens; free and forced convection (TH321) and a combined conduction/convection unit (TH322) cover the convective regimes; thermal radiation (TH331) introduces the Stefan–Boltzmann law and view-factor analysis; and a steady-state and transient conduction stand (TH541) closes the loop with unsteady problems. Every unit is instrumented with digital temperature, heater-power and flow transducers, and streams data to a PC for real-time evaluation, with LAN/WLAN access for remote observation — equally suited to an in-person lab session and to a distance-learning delivery.
